Canon 046H Magenta Toner for imageCLASS Printers

This genuine Canon 1252C001 cartridge delivers magenta toner in a high-yield format rated for 5000 pages. It suits offices running Canon imageCLASS LBP654Cdw, MF731Cdw, MF733Cdw or MF735Cdw devices that need consistent colour output with fewer replacements. The single-cartridge system merges toner and drum into one unit, simplifying consumable management for busy workgroups.

Yield limit and printer compatibility

The 5000-page figure follows standard test conditions; actual yield varies with page coverage, job size and environmental factors. This cartridge fits only the four imageCLASS models listed above; other Canon or third-party printers cannot accept it. No other capacities or colours are included in this SKU.

Drop-in replacement with single consumable

Installation consists of opening the front cover, removing the spent cartridge and sliding the new unit into the magenta slot until it clicks. Because the drum is integrated, there is no separate drum unit to align or replace. The most common issue is forgetting to remove the protective seal before insertion, which blocks toner flow and causes blank or streaked pages.

Questions about this item

Which cartridge number should I pick for my magenta slot — 1251C001, 1252C001, 1253C001 or 1254C001?

Choose 1252C001; it is the magenta high-yield cartridge in the 046 H series, while the other three numbers correspond to black, cyan and yellow.

What does the 5000-page yield mean for daily printing on my imageCLASS LBP654Cdw?

It is the rated output at standard test coverage; heavy graphics, frequent duplex or short jobs will reduce the actual count, while light text pages may extend it.

Does cartridge 46 work with the MF733Cdw and MF735Cdw as well as the LBP654Cdw?

Yes — the 046 H magenta cartridge is listed for the LBP654Cdw, MF731Cdw, MF733Cdw and MF735Cdw, so it fits all four models.
