Questions about this item

Does the Canon 2772B004 drum unit add noticeable heat or power draw when the imageRUNNER runs all day?

The drum unit is a passive component with no motor or heater, so it does not increase the machine's power consumption or heat output during continuous operation.

Which toner cartridge must already be installed for the 2772B004 drum to work in an imageRUNNER 2525?

This drum unit requires a compatible GPR-34 or GPR-35 black toner cartridge to be present in the printer for printing to function.

Will the 2772B004 drum unit work if I keep using an older imageRUNNER 2520 alongside a newer 2545?

Yes, the drum is compatible with both the imageRUNNER 2520 and 2545, so it can be swapped between those models without issue.
