Canon GPR-46 Color Drum Unit

The Canon 6370B004 GPR-46 is a genuine OEM color drum unit designed for Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C7260, C7270, C9270 PRO and C9280 PRO multifunction printers. It supplies the imaging component for three-color output in high-volume office environments. Buyers needing black-only drum units or toner bottles for other printer families cannot use this part.

Installing the GPR-46 drum unit

Installation follows the standard front-access procedure for the listed imageRUNNER ADVANCE models: open the cover, remove the old drum unit and insert the new one until it locks. The unit is brand new and requires no shaking or priming. Errors typically occur when the protective seal is not fully removed or when the unit is forced into an incompatible model not listed above.

16400-page yield at 5% coverage

The drum unit is rated for approximately 16400 pages at 5% coverage per color. This yield figure determines whether the unit matches your department's print volume and replacement cycle. Offices with significantly higher daily output will reach end-of-life sooner, while lower-volume users may exceed the rated life.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the GPR-46 drum unit is working correctly after installing it in my imageRUNNER ADVANCE C7260?

Print a test page and check that all three colours appear even and consistent across the 5 % coverage pattern; the unit is rated for 16400 pages at that coverage.

What comes in the box with the 6370B004 and do I need to buy any toner bottles separately?

The package contains the genuine Canon colour drum unit only; toner bottles for the C7260, C7270, C9270 PRO or C9280 PRO are sold separately.

Should I choose the GPR-46 or a different drum unit for my imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9280 PRO?

The GPR-46 (part 6370B004) is the correct colour drum unit for the C9280 PRO as well as the C7260, C7270 and C9270 PRO models.
