Canon 718 Black Toner

The Canon 718 Black toner cartridge is an original printing solution built for Canon laser printers. It delivers sharp, crisp black text for professional-quality documents. The design allows quick, hassle-free installation and replacement. High page yield reduces the frequency of cartridge changes.

Offices and home users needing reliable mono prints

Suits buyers who want consistent output from a genuine Canon cartridge. Not for users who require colour printing or a multi-colour toner set. Not for printers that use a different cartridge series. Buyers needing higher capacity than this model provides should look at alternative supplies.

2662B002 model identifier

The 2662B002 part number confirms exact compatibility with supported Canon devices. Matching this code to the printer manual ensures the cartridge will fit and function correctly. Using the wrong model number risks installation errors and print defects. Verify the identifier before purchase.

Questions about this item

Which Canon printer models accept the 718 Black toner cartridge 2662B002?

This cartridge works with the specific Canon printers listed as compatible for the 718 series; check your printer manual or the Canon compatibility list to confirm your model is supported before purchase.

Can I keep using my existing drum unit when I install this 718 toner?

The 718 is a toner-only cartridge, so it requires a separate drum unit; if your printer uses an integrated cartridge the drum is replaced at the same time, otherwise retain the current drum until its own end-of-life.

How do I verify the 718 cartridge is printing correctly after installation?

Run a test page from the printer menu; you should see sharp, even black text with no streaks or fading, confirming the cartridge is seated properly and functioning as intended.
