Wide-Angle Prime for Low Light

The Canon EF 24mm f/1.4L II USM is a wide-angle prime lens built for full-frame DSLR cameras. Its fast f/1.4 maximum aperture suits photographers working in dim environments or seeking shallow depth of field. The bundle adds a 77mm filter kit, cap keeper and cleaning supplies for immediate use.

Optical Correction Under Extended Use

Two ultra-low dispersion elements and a pair of aspherical elements control chromatic and spherical aberrations during prolonged shooting sessions. Sub Wavelength Coating on individual elements reduces flare and ghosting when strong light sources remain in the frame. Internal floating focus maintains consistent sharpness across the focusing range without performance drift.

Straightforward Mounting with Hood Alignment

The lens mounts directly to any Canon EF-mount body with no adapter required. The included EW-83K hood attaches via a bayonet fitting that must be rotated until it clicks; incomplete locking causes vignetting at the edges. The 77mm filter threads accept the supplied filters, but over-tightening can bind the front element retaining ring.
