Canon EOS 80D DSLR Camera with 18-135mm Lens Starter Bundle

What this bundle delivers

The Canon EOS 80D DSLR arrives with an 18-135mm lens, a 64 GB SD card, a padded carrying case, a USB card reader and a cleaning kit. A 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC 6 processor capture stills at up to 7 fps and Full HD 1080p video at 60 fps. The 3.0-inch 1.04m-dot vari-angle touchscreen and built-in Wi-Fi with NFC suit enthusiasts who want a complete starter kit.

Check before you buy

Your computer needs an SD card slot or a free USB port for the supplied reader to import images. The camera uses Canon EF and EF-S lenses, so any existing glass must match that mount. Video files are recorded in Full HD 1080p, so editing software should handle that resolution. Expanded ISO reaches 25600 for low-light work, but the kit lens has a variable aperture that limits light gathering at the long end.

How it fits your workflow

The bundle frees you from buying storage, protection and cleaning gear separately. Dual Pixel CMOS AF and a 45-point all cross-type AF system cover both live-view and viewfinder shooting, reducing the need for extra focusing accessories. Built-in Wi-Fi with NFC lets you transfer files to a mobile device without cables. The vari-angle touchscreen simplifies high-angle and low-angle composition, while the 60 fps video mode supports smooth motion capture for vlogs or action clips.
