Questions about this item

How long can the EOS 7D sustain 8 fps continuous shooting before the buffer fills?

The camera captures up to 8 frames per second with an 18.0-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor and Dual DIGIC 4 processors; sustained burst length depends on card write speed and file format chosen.

How hot or loud does the body get during extended 1080p video recording?

The magnesium-alloy body with environmental sealing dissipates heat during Full HD recording at 30p, 25p or 24p; no active cooling fan is present so surface warmth increases with long takes.

Which lens mount does the body use so I know which lenses fit?

The EOS 7D uses the Canon EF/EF-S mount, accepting all EF and EF-S lenses; the body is sold without a lens so a compatible lens must be supplied separately.
