Ready-to-shoot kit for everyday photography

This bundle pairs the Canon PowerShot IXUS 285 HS A with a 64GB memory card, protective case, flexible tripod, card reader, cleaning kit and card wallet. The 20.2MP 1/2.3" CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4+ processor deliver 1080p video at 30 fps and 7.2 fps continuous shooting. Built-in Wi-Fi with NFC enables wireless transfer to a smartphone or tablet. It suits travellers and casual users who want a complete, pocket-friendly package.

Simple setup with a few common pitfalls

Charge the supplied NB-11LH battery fully before first use and insert the 64GB card into the camera slot. Format the card in-camera to avoid file-system errors. The 12-inch flexible tripod legs wrap around poles or branches but need a stable anchor; overtightening can strip the lightweight mount. Wi-Fi pairing requires the Canon Camera Connect app and a phone running a compatible OS; NFC tap-to-connect works only on supported Android devices.

Check your workflow before ordering

Verify that your computer or mobile device can read 64GB SDXC cards and handle 20.2MP JPEG files. The camera records 1080p video at 30 fps, so confirm your editing software supports that frame rate. ISO reaches 3200, but low-light noise may limit usable output for night scenes. The 3.0" 461k-dot LCD is fixed — there is no electronic viewfinder. Buyers needing 4K video, raw capture, a larger zoom range or interchangeable lenses should consider other system types.
