It suits content creators, filmmakers, vloggers and photographers who need one optic for landscapes, architecture, travel and everyday video work. The constant f/4 aperture maintains consistent exposure across the zoom range.

Mounts directly to RF bodies

The lens attaches natively to Canon RF-mount cameras without adapters. The bundle supplies a soft case, tripod, cleaning kit, filter set, card reader, memory-card wallet and cap keeper for immediate use. Weather sealing and a fluorine coating protect the front element during outdoor shoots.

64 GB card handles mixed photo and video sessions

The included 64 GB memory card stores hundreds of RAW images or extended 4K footage clips. Dual Nano USM Power Zoom and up to 6 stops of optical stabilisation keep handheld video smooth throughout the 20-50 mm range. Very long telephoto reach or faster low-light apertures are not covered by this lens.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 20-50mm zoom and Power Zoom are operating correctly after mounting the lens?

Attach the lens to an RF-mount body, enable Power Zoom from the camera menu, and rotate the zoom ring; the focal length should shift smoothly from 20 to 50 mm with silent, motorised movement and minimal focus breathing during the transition.

Which accessories are included in the bundle and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains the RF 20-50mm f/4 L IS USM PZ lens, a 64 GB memory card, photo software, a three-piece filter kit, soft case, tripod, cleaning kit, card wallet, card reader and cap keeper; only additional storage or spare batteries would need separate purchase.

What distinguishes the PZ version from the non-PZ RF 20-50mm f/4 L IS USM models?

The PZ designation adds Dual Nano USM Power Zoom for motorised, constant-speed zoom control and quieter operation during video recording, while the optical formula, 6-stop stabilisation and L-series build remain identical across both variants.
