An ultra-wide zoom delivering 180 to 190 degree fisheye views with a bright f/2.8-3.5 aperture and fast STM autofocus
The Canon RF 7-14mm f/2.8-3.5 L Fisheye STM is a new ultra-wide-angle zoom lens built for photographers and videographers who want circular fisheye coverage of 190 degrees at 7mm and diagonal fisheye of 180 degrees at 14mm. Its 16 elements in 11 groups deliver professional-grade clarity across the frame. The variable aperture of f/2.8 to f/3.5 supports bright results in low light. STM autofocus provides fast, accurate performance for stills and video. It suits creative work in action sports, extreme close-ups and remote-camera positions.
This lens uses the Canon RF mount, so your camera body must accept RF lenses natively or via a compatible adapter. The fisheye projection produces strong barrel distortion with a circular image at the wide end and a full-frame diagonal view at 14mm; straight lines will curve unless corrected in post. Filter threads are not available on the front element, so plan for gel filters or rear-filter systems if filtration is required. Ensure your workflow can handle the unique perspective and distortion characteristics before ordering.
Under sustained use the optical formula maintains consistent sharpness and colour rendition across the zoom range without the focus breathing common in shorter bursts. The STM motor runs quietly and stays responsive during long video takes, while the lens barrel remains stable at any focal length. Heat buildup does not shift focus position, so repeated autofocus cycles stay reliable. The constant f/2.8 maximum at 7mm holds exposure steady when zooming, avoiding the brightness drop that variable-aperture designs often show during prolonged recording.

The lens ships new in its original packaging with front and rear caps fitted. A lens hood is built into the circular fisheye design so no separate hood is required.
At 7mm the lens produces a circular fisheye image covering 190 degrees. At 14mm it delivers a full-frame diagonal fisheye of 180 degrees.
The bright f/2.8 maximum at 7mm gathers ample light for interior work, while the STM motor keeps focus smooth and quiet for video.
