Compact photo printer with 4 x 6" paper set

The Canon SELPHY CP1500 is a compact photo printer bundled with a KP-108IN ink and paper set for 4 x 6" postcard prints. It produces professional-like photos from memory cards, USB flash drives, or computer connections. The unit measures approximately 7 x 5 x 2" and supports an optional battery for portable use. It prints vivid images at 300 x 300 dpi with 16.7 million colours.

Upgrade from single-size printers or lab visits

This model replaces printers limited to one paper format by supporting four sizes: 4 x 6", 3.5 x 4.7", 2.1 x 3.4" adhesive stickers, and 2.1 x 2.1" squares. The jump is worth it for users who want instant, dry-to-the-touch prints resistant to water, scratches, and fingerprints without leaving home. Compatible sets include RP-108, KP-36IP, and KC-18IS for varied creative needs.

Sustained printing performance

A 4 x 6" postcard print completes in approximately 41 seconds, while a 2.1 x 3.4" credit-card size takes about 23 seconds. Outputs are rated to last up to 100 years under proper storage. The dye-sublimation process delivers consistent colour density across multiple prints without the banding or drying delays common in inkjet alternatives during extended sessions.
