Weatherproof Electrical Box 36 cu in

The Cantex 5133371 is a gray PVC electrical box rated for outdoor use and UL Listed. It provides a 36 cubic inch capacity across two gangs with one hub on each end. The FSC box type suits residential and light commercial wiring projects.

Replaces non-weatherproof or single-gang boxes

This unit upgrades installations that lack outdoor rating or need additional gang capacity. The jump is worth it when a project requires two gangs in a single weatherproof enclosure with two hub entry points.

Simple surface mount with supplied hardware

Installation uses standard PVC solvent cement or mechanical fasteners through the integrated mounting brackets. Common issues include forgetting to seal the unused hub with a listed plug and over-tightening cover screws which can crack the gray PVC body.
