Product identity

Capcom 60585 delivers Dead Rising as a Steam download code for PC. The 2016 release brings the original 2006 action adventure to modern Windows with a 72-hour survival challenge inside Willamette Mall. Mature-rated content targets players who want open-ended zombie combat and time-pressure storytelling.

Build integration

The code activates on an existing Steam account and installs to any 64-bit Windows 7, 8 or 10 system. Minimum specs call for a Core 2 Duo at 2.4 GHz or Athlon X2 at 2.8 GHz with 10 GB of free storage. No physical media means instant library addition once the key is redeemed.

Upgrade context

This digital edition replaces the original disc release for owners who lost media or moved to disc-less builds. The jump is worth it when you need Steam cloud saves, automatic patching and the ability to install on multiple machines without hunting for a DVD drive. Buyers who want console versions or physical collector packaging should look elsewhere.
