What this product is

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is a turn-based RPG for PC, published by Capcom and delivered as a Steam download code. You play as a Rider who hatches, raises and bonds with friendly monsters called Monsties to fight alongside them in an epic story. The game activates on a Steam account and is available only in select countries listed in the specifications.

System needs and DRM

The title requires a 64-bit Windows 10 operating system and a Steam account for activation and installation. Minimum processor demand is an Intel Core i5-3470 at 3.20 GHz or equivalent, so the power draw and thermals will match typical mid-range CPU loads during play. No additional DRM beyond Steam is mentioned.

Build fit and what it frees

As a digital download the product needs no physical media drive, freeing a drive bay or external slot in your build. It installs directly to your chosen storage device and runs on the single PC platform specified. Buyers who want a physical collector's edition or offline play without Steam cannot use this version.

Questions about this item

How do I install Monster Hunter Stories 2 Wings of Ruin on PC using the Steam code?

Create or sign in to a Steam account, choose Activate a Product on Steam, enter the 79816 code, then download and install the game; the step often missed is ensuring Windows 10 64-bit is installed before activation.

What future update or account change could affect access to this downloadable game?

The Steam account must remain in good standing; if the account is banned or the region is changed to a blocked country such as CN or JP, the game will become unplayable.

What hardware limit appears first during long play sessions on minimum specs?

The Intel Core i5-3470 3.20 GHz processor and 8 GB RAM minimum will hit CPU and memory bottlenecks before GPU limits during extended turns and large monster encounters.
