Rudy Side Story DLC

This downloadable add-on expands Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection with a new narrative chapter focused on Rudy. The content requires the full base game on Steam and a Steam account for activation. It becomes accessible after completing the first half of the main campaign.

Narrative-Focused Gameplay

The DLC delivers a story-driven experience rather than mechanical changes or new systems. Players follow Rudy, a Palico from a line of Azurian Royal Palicoes, during a survey of egg quartz that leads to an unexpected discovery. The add-on adds roughly one gigabyte of data to the existing installation.

Digital Delivery

The product is a Steam online game code delivered via download with no physical media. Installation requires approximately one gigabyte of free storage space. Refunding or cancelling the DLC after installation renders any save files created while it was active unusable.

Questions about this item

Does the Additional Side Story: Rudy DLC install and run without making my PC louder or hotter during long sessions?

The DLC adds roughly 1 GB of data to the base game, so it does not introduce any extra background processes or power draw beyond what Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection already uses.

What must I already own before I can activate the Steam code for this Rudy side story?

You need a Steam account and the full version of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection on Steam; the DLC will not launch without the base game installed.

Will this DLC work if I keep playing on my current Windows 64-bit setup that runs the base game?

Yes — the add-on shares the same 64-bit Windows requirements as the base title, so any PC that already runs Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection can play the Rudy side story.
