Survival horror continuation

Resident Evil Village is the eighth major entry in Capcom's long-running franchise and arrives on PC as a Steam downloadable code. Players step back into the first-person perspective of Ethan Winters several years after the events of Resident Evil 7 biohazard. The story moves the action to a remote European settlement where familiar characters and new threats await.

For series followers and first-person horror fans

This title suits players who want a direct narrative sequel with combat, exploration and puzzle-solving delivered from a first-person viewpoint. Buyers seeking cooperative or competitive multiplayer modes will not find them here. Anyone whose account region is among the blocked countries listed in the specifications cannot activate the code.

Steam DRM and regional activation

The product is a digital licence that binds to a Steam account and requires the client for installation and play. Activation is restricted to select countries; the full list of excluded regions appears in the specifications. A 64-bit Windows 10 installation and a Steam account are the only stated prerequisites.
