Heavy-Duty Carabiner Clips

This six-pack of D-shaped carabiners is built from steel with a black electrophoretic finish. Each clip measures 3.15 inches and features a premium spring gate for one-handed operation. They are designed for general-purpose attachment tasks such as keychains, hammocks, backpacks and gym accessories.

860 lbs Static Load Capacity

The manufacturer rates the maximum static load at 860 lbs (390 kg) in a fully closed position, providing ample headroom for securing gear, water bottles or pet leashes. The rating applies to static weight only; dynamic forces or life-safety scenarios will exceed the safe working limit quickly.

Not for Climbing or Safety Systems

The supplier explicitly states these clips are not recommended for climbing, fall protection or heavy-duty safety equipment. Buyers needing certified load-bearing hardware for vertical sports or industrial rigging must source equipment that carries the appropriate safety certifications.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.15 inch D-shaped gate clear the thick webbing on my old camping hammock straps?

The 3.15 inch D-shaped design provides the largest door opening size, allowing the spring gate to pass over bulky webbing or rope loops without forcing it.

How can I confirm the spring clip on each of the six carabiners engages properly after I attach them?

Press the gate inward; the premium spring should snap it shut with a positive click and the gate must sit flush against the nose with no visible gap.

Does the pack of six include any locking sleeves or separate attachment hardware?

The box contains only the six black iron carabiners; no locking sleeves, split rings or extra hardware are supplied.
