First Racing System for Young Drivers

The Carrera Go Action Pack is a 1:43 scale analog slot-car set designed as an entry point for children new to the hobby. It operates on a two-lane track where only one car runs per lane at a time. The system has been available for 10 years since 2011.

Analog Two-Lane Limitation

The analog format restricts play to a maximum of two drivers racing simultaneously on the standard layout. Lane changing and overtaking are not possible on the basic track sections included. Expansion requires separate accessory kits such as mechanical points, loops or jump elements.

Check Space and Power Needs

Ensure you have a flat surface large enough for the assembled circuit and access to a mains outlet for the transformer. The hand-held controllers require dexterity and precision, so confirm the intended user can operate them comfortably. Additional track pieces are sold separately.

Questions about this item

Is this 1:43 scale set the right starting point for a young driver?

The 1:43 scale analog system is built as a first track for small drivers and supports two lanes at a time.

What does the 10-year track record mean for play value today?

The range has grown since 2011 with lane-change bends, see-saw sections, mechanical points, looping kits and a jump accessory.

How does the analog 1:43 format limit race options?

Only one car per lane can run, so races are limited to two drivers at once on the two-lane track.
