Purpose & Audience

The Case Logic QNS-113 is a moulded sleeve designed for notebooks up to 13.3 inches. Its EVA shell and quilted padding protect the device from bumps and scratches during daily transport.

Build Integration

The clamshell sleeve slips into a backpack, messenger bag or briefcase without adding bulk. Dimensions of 11 by 9.40 by 1.80 inches and a weight of 1 lb keep the profile slim while the 1.50-inch compartment depth secures the laptop in place.

Fit & Alternatives

Suits commuters and students who want a lightweight, single-device sleeve with a 25 year warranty. Buyers needing extra pockets for accessories, a shoulder strap or a larger screen size should consider a full laptop bag instead.

Questions about this item

How much protection does the 1.50" deep moulded EVA shell give when the sleeve is packed tight all day?

The 1.50" deep moulded EVA compartment wraps the 13.3" laptop in rigid foam that absorbs impacts and holds its shape even when compressed inside a crowded bag.

Does the EVA material trap heat against the laptop during extended use?

The sleeve is a passive cover with no insulation layer; it adds negligible thermal resistance so the device cools normally when the clamshell is open.

Will a 13.3" ultrabook measuring 13" wide by 9.40" deep fit without forcing the clamshell?

Yes — the interior compartment is 13" wide by 9.40" deep, matching the stated maximum screen size exactly.
