Case Logic VNC-218 18-inch laptop case

The Case Logic VNC-218 is a shoulder carrying case built for laptops with screens from 17 to 18.4 inches. It uses Dobby Nylon construction and includes an adjustable divider to secure different device sizes. A Smart Organization panel holds electronics and accessories while a Speed Pocket gives quick access to valuables. An adjustable shoulder strap and padded handles join a luggage strap for travel convenience.

Capacity and daily headroom

The internal compartment measures 17.80 by 12.20 by 1.90 inches, fitting most 17 to 18.4 inch laptops with room for chargers and documents. The adjustable divider creates a snug fit for smaller machines within that range. External dimensions of 19.3 by 14.2 by 3.9 inches keep the bag compact enough for overhead bins while the 2.24 pound weight adds minimal load. Buyers needing space for larger workstation replacements or extensive peripheral kits will find the capacity limiting.

18.4-inch maximum screen compatibility

The decisive specification is the 18.4 inch upper screen-size limit supported by the adjustable divider. Laptops exceeding this diagonal will not fit securely, while smaller ultraportables may leave excess space unless the divider is tightened. Confirm your device screen size against this ceiling before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the adjustable divider hold my 17.8-inch laptop securely?

Yes, the divider adjusts to fit screens from 17 up to 18.4 inches, so a 17.8-inch device sits snug inside the 17.80 by 12.20 by 1.90-inch laptop compartment.

How can I confirm the Speed Pocket is ready for airport screening?

The Speed Pocket is a dedicated quick-access pouch on the exterior; after packing, verify it zips flat and lies flush against the 19.3 by 14.2 by 3.9-inch case body so it can be opened instantly at security.

Does the box include a shoulder strap or must I buy one separately?

An adjustable shoulder strap is supplied with the case, along with a padded handle and a luggage strap that slides over rolling-bag handles; no extra straps are required.
