Laptop case for 15.6 inch screens

The Case Logic VNCI-215 is a polyester carrying case tailored for laptops with a 15.6 inch display. It fits devices up to 15.2 by 10.5 by 1.7 inches inside a padded compartment. An adjustable strap secures the computer while a front pocket panel organises small accessories. A wide-based front pocket also holds bulkier items such as a power brick.

Protection and organisation during daily transport

Padded compartment walls cushion the laptop against bumps when the bag is carried or set down. The clamshell design opens completely so the device slides in and out without resistance. A slip pocket separates documents from other contents while the front pocket keeps chargers and cables accessible. The adjustable interior strap prevents the laptop from shifting inside the case.

Lightweight carry with padded handles

The case weighs 4 oz and measures 17.3 by 13.8 by 3.1 inches overall. Neoprene-lined handles provide a soft grip for hand carry. A removable shoulder strap includes an anti-slip pad to distribute weight evenly. Both carrying options are designed for comfort during commutes or travel.

Questions about this item

Does the 4 oz polyester shell trap heat around a 15.6 inch laptop during all-day use?

The case weighs 4 oz and uses breathable polyester with a padded compartment, so it does not trap heat around the device.

What must I already own for the VNCI-215 to function as intended?

You need a laptop with a 15.6 inch screen measuring up to 15.2 x 10.5 x 1.7 inches to fit the tailored compartment.

Will the 17.3 x 13.8 x 3.1 inch case fit inside the 15 inch backpack I have used since 2020?

The external dimensions are 17.3 x 13.8 x 3.1 inches, so it is larger than a typical 15 inch pack and will not fit inside it.
