Hook Ups Case & Neck Strap

The Case-Mate Hook Ups is a fitted silicone case and detachable neck strap made for Apple AirPods Series 1 and 2. The aqua blue cover wraps the wireless charging case with precision moulding while keeping the charging port accessible. A circular ring clip attaches the included earbud strap so the whole set stays together during daily carry. It is a practical add-on for anyone who wants drop protection and hands-free convenience for their first- or second-generation AirPods.

Sustained daily protection

The silicone skin absorbs repeated impacts from drops and knocks without cracking or stretching out of shape. Precision moulding holds the case firmly so the cover will not slide off when the strap pulls on the ring clip. Wireless charging works through the material every time, so the case never needs removal for routine power top-ups. The strap and clip are built to withstand constant tension from neck wear without snapping or deforming.

Limits of the AirPods 1 & 2 form factor

The case fits only the original AirPods wireless charging case dimensions used in Series 1 and 2; it will not accommodate the shorter AirPods Pro case or the taller third-generation case. The ring clip adds a small protrusion that may catch on tight pockets or narrow bag compartments. Wireless charging speed remains limited to the standard Qi rate supported by the AirPods case itself. No water-resistance rating is added by the silicone skin.

Questions about this item

Does the silicone case trap heat around the AirPods during all-day use?

The drop-protected silicone shell is precision-moulded for a close fit and has no thermal specifications, so any heat retention would be minimal and similar to other tight-fitting cases.

What must I already own for the neck strap and ring clip to work?

You need Apple AirPods Series 1 or 2, including the wireless charging case version, because the case is moulded specifically for those models.

Will the circular ring clip catch on the hinge of my original AirPods case?

The clip attaches to the Hook Ups case itself, not the AirPods hinge, so it clears the original hinge movement without interference.
