Fitted Protection for iPhone 16 Pro Max

This clear case is built specifically for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, delivering a snug, form-fitting shield. The transparent rigid plastic shows off the phone's original colour while adding a layer of defence against everyday hazards. It is designed for owners who want drop protection without hiding the device's finish.

Lightweight Build with Scratch Resistance

The case uses a lightweight rigid plastic shell that adds minimal bulk to the handset. An anti-scratch coating helps the surface resist marks from keys, pockets and tabletop contact. UV protection is integrated to prevent the clear material from yellowing over time, keeping the look consistent.

12 ft Drop Rating for Sustained Impact Safety

The Tough Clear Series is tested to survive drops from 12 feet, offering confidence beyond a momentary bump. This rating reflects protection during repeated or higher-energy impacts rather than a single light knock. The structure absorbs and disperses force to shield the iPhone 16 Pro Max through extended daily use.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Case-Mate Tough Clear Case on my iPhone 16 Pro Max without trapping dust under the clear back?

Wipe the phone and the case interior with a microfibre cloth, align the camera cut-out first, then press the edges from top to bottom so air escapes through the open bottom.

Will the anti-scratch coating and UV protection on this case wear off, and when should I replace it?

The coating is designed to stay clear under normal use; replace the case if you see yellowing, deep scratches that catch a fingernail, or if the corners no longer grip after repeated drops.

What is the first limit you hit when the Case-Mate Tough Clear Case takes repeated hard impacts?

The rigid plastic frame absorbs shock up to the 12 ft drop rating; beyond that the material can crack or the corner lips can deform, reducing grip on the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
