Designed for iPhone XS Max

This clear fitted case is made specifically for the Apple iPhone XS Max. It uses rigid plastic with a transparent finish to show the device design while adding protection. The flexible sides improve grip during daily handling. It suits owners who want drop defence without hiding the phone's original colour.

Drop protection and wireless charging

The case is rated for 10 ft drop protection to guard against accidental falls. Flexible side walls absorb impact while maintaining a secure hold. Anti-scratch technology helps keep the clear back looking new over time. The design remains fully compatible with wireless charging pads.

Upgrading from basic sleeves

This case replaces thin silicone sleeves or bare-phone use when you need certified drop safety. The metallic buttons deliver a refined tactile response that membrane overlays lack. It is not for buyers who want a folio wallet, a built-in stand, or MagSafe magnetic alignment. The jump is worth it when grip and impact rating matter more than minimal bulk.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the Case-Mate Tough Clear case onto my iPhone XS Max without cracking the rigid plastic back?

Start by flexing the soft TPU sides outward, then slide the phone in bottom-first so the rigid clear back settles flat; forcing the top corners first is the step most people get wrong and can stress the transparent shell.

Will the anti-scratch coating or the metallic buttons wear out and need replacement?

The anti-scratch treatment is bonded to the rigid plastic and the metallic buttons are moulded into the flexible frame; neither is designed to be serviced separately, so the whole case is replaced if cosmetics degrade.

At what point does the 10 ft drop rating stop protecting the phone during repeated impacts?

The 10 ft drop protection is rated for single-event shocks; cumulative drops can fatigue the rigid back and flexible sides, so the first limit you reach under sustained use is material fatigue rather than a specific impact count.
