Protection for Galaxy A42 5G

The Case-Mate Tough Clear Case fits the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G with a 6.6-inch display. A rigid plastic shell delivers 10 ft drop protection while keeping the phone's original finish visible. Precise cutouts maintain access to every port, button and camera. Raised bezels guard the screen and lenses against surface contact.

Everyday impact resistance

The hardshell construction absorbs repeated shocks from accidental drops onto hard floors. Its slim profile prevents the bulk that makes larger phones awkward to carry in tight pockets. Materials resist yellowing and cracking through daily handling and temperature changes. The transparent back stays clear so the device colour remains on show.

Lightweight thermal neutrality

Rigid plastic adds negligible mass and does not trap heat against the handset during charging or extended use. No moving parts or adhesives mean silent operation in any environment. The snap-on design stays secure without pressing on buttons or port covers. Unisex styling suits professional and casual settings alike.

Questions about this item

Does the rigid plastic trap heat against the Galaxy A42 5G during all-day use?

The slim, lightweight shell adds minimal insulation, so the phone dissipates heat normally while the raised bezels keep the screen and lenses off surfaces.

What must I already own for this clear case to function?

You need a Samsung Galaxy A42 5G with a 6.6-inch display; the case is a single-piece hard shell with precise cutouts that snap on without tools.

Will the raised bezels still protect the camera lenses if I keep an older tempered-glass screen protector on the phone?

Yes, the raised edges sit above both the screen and camera module, so they shield the lenses regardless of any existing protector.
