Engineered Fit for Dell KM636 and KB216

This clear silicone cover is moulded to match the US-layout Dell KM636 wireless keyboard and the KB216 wired series, including variants KB216b, KB216t, KB216d and KB216p. It also fits the keyboards integrated in Dell OptiPlex 5250, 3050, 3240, 5460, 7450 and 7050 all-in-ones, plus Inspiron AIO 3475, 3670 and 3477 models. Buyers using any other layout or keyboard model will find it incompatible.

Ultra-Thin Silicone with Full Perimeter Coverage

At 0.3 mm thick the skin adds barely perceptible height while shielding every key from dust, liquid spills and daily abrasion. The flexible engineering-grade silicone conforms to each keycap without lifting at the edges, so typing feel remains consistent. The material is fully washable and can be flattened under weight if it ever creases.

Ready to Use with No Extra Tools

The cover ships as a single piece that stretches over the keyboard in seconds and lifts off just as easily for cleaning or disinfecting. No adhesives, clips or software are required, and the transparent finish keeps backlit legends visible. It is a purely physical barrier that does not alter connectivity or power behaviour.

Questions about this item

What keyboard layout does this 25.4 cm by 11.43 cm clear silicone cover fit?

It is engineered for US-layout Dell KB216 and KM636 keyboards only; compare your key arrangement with the reference image before ordering.

How thick is the cover, and will it add noticeable height to the keys?

At 0.3 mm (0.12 in) it adds virtually no height, preserving the original key travel and feel.

Can I wash the cover if coffee spills on it, and how do I put it back correctly?

Yes, it is fully washable and reusable; after drying, align the cover precisely over each key — misalignment is the common mistake that leaves edges lifted.
