Precision fit for Dell KM636 and KB216 US keyboards

This silicone cover is moulded key-by-key for the Dell KM636 wireless and KB216 wired keyboards used on OptiPlex 5250 3050 3240 5460 7450 7050 and Inspiron AIO 3475 3670 3477 systems. It fits only the US layout where the Enter key is rectangular.

Ultra-thin layer restores original feel

At 0.3 mm thick the skin adds almost no height so typing travel and feedback stay close to the bare keyboard. The non-toxic silicone has an anti-fading coating that resists wear and keeps the rainbow print clear over time.

Simple lay-on installation with layout check

Place the cover over the keys and press gently; no adhesive or tools are required. The only common issue is ordering the wrong layout — the cover will not fit EU or JP keyboards where the Enter key is shaped like a 7.

Questions about this item

Will the 0.3 mm silicone layer need replacing after heavy daily typing?

The 0.3 mm engineering-grade silicone has an anti-fading coating, so the printed legends resist wear and the cover stays intact through extended use.

What is the first limit you hit when the cover stays on the keyboard all day?

Heat from the keyboard dissipates normally because the 0.3 mm thickness adds almost no thermal insulation, so sustained operation is unaffected.

Does the 0.3 mm skin change typing noise or feel during long sessions?

The ultra-thin 0.3 mm design restores the original key travel and sound, keeping the typing experience virtually identical to the bare keyboard.
