9 mm Direct Thermal Label Printer

The CASIO D30D prints on 9 millimetre media using direct thermal technology, so no ink or toner is required. A built-in rewind cutter trims each label cleanly after printing. It connects via USB and includes a starter roll for immediate use.

USB interface and single roll capacity

The USB connection limits placement to the cable length and a host device with a free port. Only one label roll fits inside at a time, so longer print runs need manual roll changes. Direct thermal output can fade with heat or prolonged sunlight exposure.

9 millimetre print width decides fit

Labels wider than 9 millimetres cannot be printed on this unit. Buyers needing broader shipping labels, wider barcode formats or multi-width flexibility should choose a different model.

Questions about this item

Which label width should I choose for the D30D — 9 mm, 12 mm or 15 mm?

The printer only accepts 9 mm media; 12 mm and 15 mm rolls will not fit the mechanism.

What does the 21-roll battery claim mean for daily use?

A full charge prints up to 21 rolls (123.2 m) of 9 mm labels, so typical office sessions can run for days without recharging.

How does the USB interface limit printing speed?

USB carries the data stream, but the direct-thermal engine and rewind cutter set the actual throughput; the port itself is not the bottleneck.
