Genuine OEM DMD chip for CASIO XJ-A240 projector, extensively tested for clear images with no dead pixels
This genuine OEM DMD chip is a direct replacement component for the CASIO XJ-A240 projector. It restores the light-engine function when the original chip has developed stuck mirrors or dead pixels. The part is intended for technicians or experienced owners performing a chip-level repair rather than a full projector swap.
Each unit has been extensively tested at least three times to verify a clear projected image with no dead pixels. The validation process ensures the micromirror array switches correctly across the full panel before the accessory ships. Photos shown are illustrative; the actual chip may show cosmetic marks in non-optical areas that do not affect performance.
This accessory replaces a faulty DMD chip inside the existing projector, avoiding the cost of a complete unit replacement. The upgrade is worthwhile when the projector chassis and optics remain sound but the image shows persistent artefacts caused by mirror failure. Buyers who need a different throw ratio, higher brightness or a newer light source will not be served by this chip alone.

The chip is built for the CASIO XJ-A240 projector and replaces the original DMD component inside that unit.
The chip mounts inside the optical engine of the XJ-A240; you need enough clearance to remove the engine cover and reach the DMD socket.
Remove the optical engine, unplug the old chip, seat the new one squarely in the socket, then reapply thermal paste on the heat-sink before reassembly.
