Cast Iron Handle Cover Pack

Cast iron handle covers for hot cookware

This pack supplies two silicone covers that slide over the keyhole handles of cast-iron skillets. They are intended for home cooks who want a secure grip when moving heavy pans on the hob. The heat-resistant material insulates the handle so it stays cool enough to hold without a cloth. Buyers who need covers for long stick handles or non-keyhole designs will find these do not fit.

Temperature range and handle dimensions

Each cover withstands continuous heat from -40 °C up to 230 °C, which is 40 °F to 500 °F. The main cover measures 5.31 x 2.17 inches and the assist cover 3.62 x 1.57 inches. They suit skillets with keyhole handle diameters between 10.5 and 13.25 inches, covering common models such as L8SK3 and L10SK3. Larger or smaller handles fall outside the stated range.

Silicone material limits and cleaning

The silicone construction provides a non-slip texture and internal ribbing that grips the metal handle firmly. It is dishwasher safe and can also be washed by hand in warm water. The smooth surface resists food residue, but the material is not rated for direct flame contact or oven temperatures above 230 °C. Users who routinely exceed that temperature should consider alternative protection.
