Designed for Canon 5D Mark III

This Cavision package is built specifically for the Canon 5D Mark III camera. It includes the MHE52 LCD Viewfinder System, a QR Swing Connection Piece, and a Mini-DV Plate to enhance framing and monitoring. The system suits photographers and videographers who need precise focus assistance and comfortable extended viewing.

Verify LCD mounting and power

Confirm your Canon 5D Mark III rear LCD dimensions match the viewfinder's mounting requirements before ordering. Ensure the camera's live-view output is active and that you have a clear path to attach the Mini-DV Plate to the body. The quick-release swing arm adds length behind the screen, so check that your rig or cage allows that extra depth.

Adds 6× magnification and tilt freedom

The MHE52 viewfinder weighs 75 g and uses a 6× glass lens with a 63 mm rubber eye-cup to block stray light. The QR Swing Connection Piece allows horizontal and fore-aft positioning, while the Mini-DV Plate provides full tilt adjustment. Together they free you from hunching over the fixed rear screen and let you compose from multiple angles without removing the unit.
