Air Safety Valve 3/4 In 150 psi

This brass air safety valve opens at a preset 150 psi and carries an ASME rating. It is built for compressed-air systems that require a certified pressure-relief device with a 586 cfm discharge capacity. The 3/4 inch NPT inlet and outlet suit standard piping in industrial and mobile installations.

Cast brass body with soft seat

The valve uses a cast brass body, a brass seat, a silicone O-ring and a stainless-steel spring. A lead seal secures the preset pressure so the setting cannot be altered in the field. Male NPT threads on the inlet and female NPT threads on the outlet allow direct connection without extra adapters. The soft-seat design provides a tight seal up to the opening pressure.

Sustained discharge at rated capacity

At the 150 psi set point the valve delivers its rated 586 cfm flow and is rated for continuous service up to 250 degrees F. The stainless spring and brass trim resist corrosion during long-term exposure to compressed air and moisture. The ASME certification covers the rated capacity, not a momentary burst. Installations that need a higher relieving capacity or a different set pressure cannot use this valve.
