NexStar 5SE Computerized Telescope

The Celestron NexStar 5SE 11036 is a 125mm Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with a 1250mm focal length and f/10 ratio. It features StarBright XLT coatings for high light transmission. The motorized single fork arm mount and NexStar computer system provide automated object location and tracking. It suits both novice and experienced astronomers.

Sustained Observing Performance

The telescope breaks down into compact pieces measuring 32.4 in x 26.5 in x 13.0 in for transport to dark-sky sites. The motorized mount maintains tracking during extended viewing sessions of planets and deep-sky objects. Battery power supports portable operation away from mains electricity. The optical tube and mount design prioritizes stability during long exposures.

Schmidt-Cassegrain Optical Limits

The 125mm aperture and f/10 focal ratio define the practical resolution and field of view at 1.3 degrees. The fixed 50x magnification and 1250mm focal length set the image scale for planetary and lunar detail. The StarBright XLT coating maximizes throughput within these optical parameters. The computerized database operates within the mount's mechanical pointing accuracy.
