What the CELUX N26 remote does

The CELUX N26 is a 2.4 GHz wireless presenter with a red laser pointer. Default buttons handle page up, page down, full-screen toggle and black-screen toggle. Software from the Norwii website lets you reassign keys to media play, pause, track skip or volume mute. The laser can also be used as a cat toy.

Who should buy it and who should not

Speakers who need a simple plug-and-play clicker for Windows, macOS, Linux or Android will find it ready to use. Buyers who must present on LED, LCD or TV screens should look elsewhere because the red laser dot is not visible on those displays. Users who want Bluetooth pairing or a rechargeable battery will not find those features here.

Installation and common issues

Plug the USB receiver into the computer and the remote works immediately without drivers. Custom button assignments require downloading and running the Norwii configuration software. The main problem reported is the laser dot disappearing on modern flat-panel screens, so test the venue display before relying on the pointer.

Questions about this item

Does the CELUX N26 remote need any special driver or software to work with my laptop?

The remote uses plug-and-play 2.4 GHz wireless. Insert the USB receiver and it works immediately with Windows, macOS, Linux and Android without extra drivers.

Will the red laser pointer be visible on my LED or LCD screen during a presentation?

The supplier notes the red laser is not recommended for LED, LCD or TV screens. It is designed for projection surfaces where the 200 m / 656 ft beam range is clearly visible.

How can I confirm the custom button mapping I created is active after setup?

After downloading the Norwii software and assigning functions like media play/pause or volume mute, test each button. The bumped button design gives tactile feedback so you can feel the orientation while verifying the new commands.
