Upgraded USB speaker with volume control

The CELUX USB Computer Speaker delivers 8 W of audio output through dual 4 W high-sensitivity internal magnetic drivers. It connects with a single USB cable that carries both power and audio, requiring no driver installation or 3.5 mm AUX lead. Three onboard buttons provide volume up, volume down and mute control.

Suits users wanting simple plug-and-play desktop

The speaker works with Windows, macOS and Chrome OS devices that have current audio drivers installed. It is compatible with a wide range of laptop and desktop brands including Apple MacBook, Lenovo, HP, Dell, ASUS, Acer and Microsoft Surface. Buyers who need wireless connectivity or a 3.5 mm analogue input should look elsewhere.

8 W output handles everyday media playback

The dual-driver design provides louder volume, richer bass and lower distortion for music, video calls and system sounds. It draws power directly from the USB port so there is no external adapter to manage. The fixed cable length and lack of a 3.5 mm jack limit placement options for set-ups that require longer reach or analogue sources.

Questions about this item

What type of USB port does my computer need to power and carry audio to this speaker?

A standard USB-A port supplies both power and digital audio; no separate 3.5 mm cable or driver installation is required.

Will the speaker work if I keep using an older laptop that still has a 3.5 mm headphone jack but no USB-A port?

The speaker draws power and audio exclusively through USB-A, so a laptop without that port cannot use it without an adapter.

How can I confirm the dual 4 W drivers are delivering sound correctly after plugging it in?

Press the Volume+ button on the speaker; audio should increase from the system default level, and the Mute button should silence output instantly.
