Centenex BASHARPBTH22 Ni-MH 2.6 Ah Battery

This Centenex Electronics replacement battery uses Ni-MH chemistry rated at 2.6 Ah. It is designed for owners of Sharp Viewcam models such as the VL-AH151, VL-AH50 and VL-AH30U who need a fresh power source for their camcorder.

Direct slide-in installation

The pack slides into the camcorder battery compartment exactly like the original Sharp BT-H22U or BT-H21 cells. No tools or soldering are required, but aged contacts inside older Viewcam units can cause intermittent charging if not cleaned first.

Verify your Viewcam model and part number

Before ordering, confirm that your camcorder appears in the supported list such as VL-A10E, VL-A45U or VL-AD260U and that the original battery part number matches BT-H22, BT-H21U or BT-H32U. This pack will not fit camcorders that use a different battery form factor or voltage.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the BASHARPBTH22 is working after I install it in my Viewcam?

Insert the charged battery and power on the camcorder; the battery indicator should show full capacity and the recorder should run for the expected duration without shutting down.

What comes in the box with the Centenex BASHARPBTH22 and what must I buy separately?

The package contains the 2.6 Ah Ni-MH battery only; a compatible Sharp charger or AC adapter for the VL-AH151, VL-AH50 or other listed Viewcam models must be purchased separately.

Which capacity should I choose for a Sharp VL-AH151 Viewcam — 2.6 Ah or another rating?

This model is supplied as a single 2.6 Ah Ni-MH version; it replaces Sharp BT-H22, BT-H21 and compatible part numbers, so no other capacity option is offered for this listing.
