Replacement battery for Intermec scanners

This 2.4 V 2000 mAh nickel-metal hydride cell replaces the Intermec 317-201-001 pack used in Norand 6210, 6212 and 6220 handheld terminals. It ships new and is 100 % OEM compatible, so existing charging cradles and firmware recognise it immediately. The green housing matches the original colour coding for quick visual identification in mixed fleets.

Steady output through a full shift

Nickel-metal hydride chemistry delivers a flat discharge curve, keeping the scanner radio and imager powered consistently from the first scan to the last without the voltage sag common in aged cells. The 2000 mAh rating supports a typical eight-hour inventory cycle on a single charge, and the pack tolerates repeated shallow cycles without noticeable capacity loss.

Upgrade from depleted or missing original packs

If the factory battery no longer holds a charge or has been lost, this unit restores full mobility without needing a new scanner. It is not suited for devices that require lithium-ion chemistry or a different voltage, so verify the 317-201-001 part number before ordering.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 2.4V 2000mAh Ni-MH battery draw while the scanner runs all day?

The 2.4V 2000mAh Ni-MH pack supplies the scanner directly; power draw depends on the host device, not the battery itself.

Which scanner models must I already own for this DS-CS-ITC622BL pack to work?

It fits Intermec Norand 6210, 6212 and 6220 units that use part number 317-201-001.

Will the 50.50 x 29.00 x 15.00 mm green pack sit correctly in an older Norand 6210 cradle?

Yes, the dimensions match the original 317-201-001 battery so the cradle contacts align.
