Purpose and compatibility

This Centenex Electronics DS-CS-MC321HL battery powers Motorola MC3200, MC32N0 and Zebra MC3300 barcode scanners. It replaces OEM part numbers 82-000012-01, BTRY-MC32-01-01, BTRY-MC33-52MA-01 and the Zebra equivalents. The pack is built for workers who need a direct swap without adapter cables.

Power profile in daily use

The 3.7 V lithium-ion cell stores 6800 mAh, yielding 25.16 Wh of energy. In normal scanning shifts the pack runs cool and delivers steady voltage until the handheld signals low charge. No active cooling is required and the chemistry exhibits low self-discharge between shifts.

Physical fit and daily handling

The black housing measures 79.60 x 45.72 x 22.70 mm and slides into the scanner battery bay with the original latch mechanism. One unit is supplied per pack. The form factor matches the OEM footprint so existing holsters and charging cradles continue to work unchanged.

Questions about this item

How do I install the battery in my Motorola MC3200, and what step do people often miss?

Slide the battery into the compartment until the latch clicks; the step people miss is pressing the release tab fully so the lock engages on both sides.

What maintenance will this 6800mAh Li-ion battery need later?

No scheduled maintenance is required; when runtime drops noticeably after many charge cycles, replace the pack with another 3.7V 6800mAh unit.

What limit appears first during sustained scanning with this 25.16Wh pack?

The 6800mAh capacity is the limiting factor; after the rated watt-hours are depleted the scanner will shut down until recharged.
