Direct Replacement Battery

The Centenex Electronics DS-CS-SKH700BL is a lithium-polymer cell built for Socket Mobile CHS 7Qi, CHS 7X, CHS 7Xi, CHS 7XiRx and CHS 7XRx barcode scanners. It delivers 3.7V and 600mAh in the original form factor so the scanner fits its holster without modification.

Upgrade From Worn Cells

This unit replaces the AC4059-1479 pack when the original no longer holds a full shift of charge. The jump is worth it when scan sessions end early or the low-battery indicator appears mid-day.

Steady Output Under Load

Li-Polymer chemistry maintains a stable 3.7V rail during continuous scanning rather than sagging after a burst of reads. The 2.22Wh capacity supports extended inventory sessions without voltage dip.

Questions about this item

Will the 43.47 x 19.64 x 9.30 mm battery fit my CHS 7Xi scanner?

Yes, the battery is built to the exact dimensions of the original AC4059-1479 pack for the CHS 7Qi, CHS 7X, CHS 7Xi, CHS 7XiRx and CHS 7XRx.

How do I install the Li-Polymer pack without damaging the connector?

Power off the scanner, open the battery door, align the plug with the socket and press straight in until it clicks; forcing it at an angle bends the pins.

When should I replace the 3.7V 600mAh battery?

Replace it when a full charge no longer lasts a typical shift or the scanner reports a low-battery warning soon after charging.
