Compact Windproof Umbrella

The Chakipee travel umbrella folds to 12 inches and weighs less than 13 ounces. It opens automatically with a single button press. The 95 cm canopy shelters two people. It is designed for commuters and travellers who need reliable rain protection that fits in a small bag.

Fibreglass Frame and Sponge Handle

A metal shaft and fibreglass ribs withstand gusts up to 24 mph without inverting. The 8-rib structure supports the 210T high-density fabric with waterproof coating. The soft sponge handle provides a slip-proof grip. Water shakes off instantly for quick storage after use.

Upgrade from Basic Folding Models

This umbrella replaces flimsy 6-rib compacts that fail in strong wind. The reinforced frame and larger 43-inch arc diameter keep two people dry. The jump is worth it for anyone who has lost a cheap umbrella to a storm. It is not for buyers who need a full-size walking stick umbrella.
