Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the CHU62 remote and what must I buy separately?

The CHU62 remote is supplied as a single unit powered by a 9-volt battery. The battery is included, so no separate purchase is required for basic operation.

Which CHU62 version should I choose for my opener made after 1997?

The CHU62 is a single universal model compatible with Chamberlain, LiftMaster, Craftsman and most other openers manufactured after 1997. No alternative versions or capacities are offered for this part number.

What does the 1300 ft range mean when the remote is used on my garage door?

The 1300 ft figure is the maximum line-of-sight distance under ideal conditions; walls, interference and weather will reduce the effective range in a real installation.
