Pre-Purchase Checks

Verify your countertop accommodates the 15"D x 12.2"W x 2.8"H footprint and that a 120V circuit can supply 1800W for the push-button controls. Confirm your cookware is induction-compatible magnetic material to work with the single large heating coil design.

Questions about this item

What cookware must I already own for the induction coil to heat it?

You need magnetic-bottom pots or pans — cast iron, magnetic stainless steel, or any cookware a magnet sticks to — so the single induction element can transfer energy directly to the vessel.

Will the 1800 W output trip a circuit shared with an older 15 A kitchen breaker?

At 120 V the unit draws about 15 A at full power, so a dedicated 15 A circuit is recommended; sharing the breaker with other appliances may cause nuisance trips.

How can I confirm the cooktop is delivering the 83 % energy-efficiency rating after setup?

Select a power level, time how long a known volume of water takes to reach a target temperature, and compare the measured heating time against the expected rate for an 83 % efficient 1800 W induction unit.
