12-Pack Size 18 Flat Brushes

This 12-pack supplies a classroom or studio with Size 18 flat easel brushes for broad strokes and washes. Each brush uses fine-grade natural black bristles set in a seamless polished aluminum ferrule. The double-crimped ferrule attaches securely to a hardwood handle with a natural lacquered finish. The bristle width measures 0.75 inches across the flat profile.

Sustained Studio Use

The rustproof aluminum ferrule resists corrosion during repeated washing with water-based media. Natural bristles hold a generous paint load and release it evenly across long painting sessions. Hardwood handles maintain their shape and finish after daily cleaning. The double-crimped construction keeps bristles firmly seated through heavy pressure on canvas or board.

Size 18 Flat Profile

The Size 18 flat shape determines coverage width and stroke character for large-area work. Buyers needing finer detail, round profiles, or synthetic filaments should choose a different brush specification. This pack addresses high-volume flat-brush demand in a single purchase.

Questions about this item

How does the natural bristle handle heat or extended painting sessions?

The natural black bristles are washable and hold paint well during long sessions, while the hardwood handle with natural lacquered finish resists heat from hands and solvents.

What paint types or surfaces work with the 0.75" flat Size 18 brush?

The flat profile and 0.75-inch natural bristles suit oils, acrylics, and watercolors on canvas, board, or paper for broad strokes and washes.

Will the rustproof aluminum ferrule react with older oil-based paints or solvents?

The seamless polished aluminum ferrule is double-crimped and rustproof, so it will not corrode or contaminate traditional oil paints and solvents.
