12V 2A AC Adapter for Surface Devices

This 24W AC adapter supplies 12 volts at 2 amps for compatible Microsoft Surface models including the RT Pro 2 and units numbered 1512, 1513 and 1516. It replaces power supplies such as PA-1240-06MX and PA-1240-07M2. The unit accepts a wide 100-240V input at 0.65A and 50/60Hz. A US plug cable is included in the pack.

Capacity limits and compatibility boundaries

The adapter delivers a fixed 24W output, so devices requiring higher wattage or a different voltage will not operate correctly. It is designed only for the specific Surface models and part numbers listed above. Buyers needing power for larger Surface laptops, docks or non-Surface hardware should look elsewhere. The pin size matches the original connector shown in the product image.
