Questions about this item

Does the 990000 lumen flashlight ship with a charging cable and battery, or must they be purchased separately?

The product is a rechargeable flashlight, so it includes a built-in battery and a charging cable in the box. No separate purchase is required for power.

How do I decide which of the five modes to use for camping versus emergency signalling?

Use the lower brightness modes for extended camp tasks to conserve the rechargeable battery, and switch to the highest lumen output or strobe mode for emergency visibility.
