Grills four sandwiches or opens 180 degrees for flat cooking with non-stick plates and removable drip tray
The Chefman Panini Press Grill fits four sandwiches at once and opens to a flat 180-degree griddle for burgers, vegetables or breakfast items. Its floating hinge adjusts automatically to thick or thin fillings, and the non-stick plates need no cooking spray. The unit runs on 1000 watts at 120 volts and includes a removable drip tray for grease collection.
The 1000-watt element maintains consistent temperature while the press is closed or fully opened, so successive sandwiches or grill loads brown evenly without long recovery pauses. Skid-resistant feet tilt the chassis slightly, letting fat drain toward the rear channel during extended cooking sessions. UL-approved safety circuitry protects the heater during prolonged use.
Owners of basic two-slice toasters gain double the capacity and a flat-top griddle for pancakes, hash browns or kabobs. The upgrade is worthwhile when counter space is limited but menu variety matters — dorm rooms, small flats or office pantries. It does not suit cooks who need independent temperature zones or plates larger than the four-slice footprint.

It operates at 1000 watts on a 120 volt supply, so continuous operation will draw that full rating while the plates are heating and cycling to maintain temperature.
A standard 120 volt North American outlet on a circuit that can supply at least 1000 watts is all that is needed; no special wiring or dedicated circuit is required.
The unit opens flat to 180 degrees giving two non stick coated griddle surfaces, so a separate cast iron pan is not needed and would not sit flat on the hinged plates.
