ChefVentions 800ml Red Food Storage

This collapsible silicone container holds 800ml and compresses to one-third of its size for compact storage. The airtight clip-on lid features an air valve for microwave venting. It is suited to meal prep, office lunches, camping and travel where space is limited.

Thermals, Noise and Power

The food-grade silicone withstands freezer, microwave and dishwasher cycles without deforming or melting. No powered components are present, so the container operates silently and draws no electricity. The material resists shattering and remains durable through daily temperature changes.

800ml Capacity Decides Fit

The single specification that determines suitability is the 800ml volume. Buyers needing larger batch storage or multiple compartments will find this capacity insufficient. The folded dimensions of 18.5 by 12 by 7 centimetres dictate the drawer or cabinet space required when empty.

Questions about this item

How do I collapse the 800ml container and which step do people miss?

Press the silicone walls inward evenly until the box reaches the folded size of 18.5 by 12 by 7 centimetres, then snap the clip-on lid shut — the step users skip is opening the air valve first so trapped air can escape and the walls fold flat.

What part will need replacement first with daily microwave and dishwasher cycles?

The clip-on lid seal and air-valve membrane wear faster than the silicone body; inspect them every few months and replace the lid if the seal no longer clicks tight or the valve stays open.

At what fill level does the container stop being leak-proof when carried in a backpack?

The airtight clip-on lid stays leak-proof up to the full 800 millilitre capacity, but only if the air valve is closed and the four clips are fully engaged before you pack it.
