ChefVentions Chamigon Stand-Up Pouches

These matte-black food-storage bags combine an aluminium-foil barrier with a resealable zipper and a heat-seal strip. The construction blocks moisture, odour, dust and water to keep contents fresher for longer. Each pouch stands upright on a 3.5-inch gusset for tidy shelf storage. The pack contains fifty bags sized 10 by 14 inches.

Sustained barrier performance

The 5.11-mil foil laminate maintains its water-vapour and odour barrier through repeated opening and resealing cycles. Heat-sealing the top strip adds a tamper-evident layer that extends shelf life for dry goods such as coffee beans, tea leaves, spices, rice and nuts. The zipper remains functional after many uses without degrading the foil seal.

Not microwave safe

These pouches cannot be used in a microwave oven. Buyers who need reheatable packaging must choose a different product. The material is intended for ambient or cool dry storage only.

Questions about this item

How much heat can the 5.11 mil matte black bags withstand during all-day storage?

The bags are not microwavable and have no temperature rating; they are designed for room-temperature or cooler dry storage only.

What sealing tool is needed to use the heat-seal strip on these 10x14 inch pouches?

A standard impulse or clamp heat sealer works with the top sealing strip; the side tear notches let you open a heat-sealed bag cleanly.

Will the 3.5 inch bottom gusset let these stand upright on a wire pantry shelf?

Yes, the 3.5 inch gusset gives a flat base so the bags stand on wire shelves, but the matte black foil can slide on smooth metal.
