75-Pack Sugarcane Clamshell Containers

This set supplies 75 disposable clamshell containers made from compostable sugarcane fibre. Each unit measures 9 by 6 inches and uses a double-lock closure to seal hot or cold food without leakage. The material is BPA-free, gluten-free and contains no plastic or wax lining.

Food-Service Operators and Home Users

Restaurants, food trucks and caterers who need a high-volume, tree-free alternative to foam will find the pack size practical. Households packing lunches or leftovers also benefit from microwave and refrigerator safety. Buyers who require reusable containers or a smaller quantity should look elsewhere.

9-by-6-Inch Double-Lock Closure

The 9-by-6-inch footprint and double-lock mechanism determine whether the box fits your menu portions and stays sealed during transport. If your portions need a larger footprint or a different sealing style, this model will not match the requirement.

Questions about this item

How do you close the 9*6 inch containers so the double-lock seal actually holds?

Press the lid down firmly until both locking tabs click into the base rim; the sugarcane fibre is stiff, so a light press leaves a gap that leaks.

What happens to the containers after they are composted?

In a commercial facility the bagasse breaks down in 3-6 months; home compost piles usually lack the heat to finish the job.

At what temperature do the containers start to soften in the microwave?

They are rated microwave-safe for normal reheating, but prolonged high-power cycles above typical serving temperatures can make the walls pliable.
