Ready-to-eat meals on the move

The ChefVentions HD-Z-0001 is a 1.5 L electric lunch box that runs from 12 V, 24 V or 110 V supplies. It targets drivers, site workers and office staff who lack microwave access and want a hot, home-cooked meal at their desk or in their cab.

Steady heat without boiling over

An 80 W PTC element brings food to eating temperature in 20-25 minutes and then holds it there. The constant-temperature design avoids the hot-spots and scorching that simple resistive heaters create during a long shift.

Plug in and eat, but watch the liquid

Setup is as simple as choosing the matching cord and pressing the lid shut. The stainless container seals well, yet the separate .45 L plastic pot can leak if tipped, so keep the insulated bag upright when the truck is bouncing.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 80W heater draw when it runs all day in a truck?

The unit is rated at 80W and is designed for 20-25 minute heating cycles, not continuous all-day operation.

What voltage source do I already need to run the 12V/24V/110V heater?

You need access to a 12V car socket, a 24V truck socket, or a standard 110V wall outlet.

Will the 1.5L 304 stainless container fit inside my existing insulated lunch bag?

The container dimensions correspond to the Large size designation; compare your bag's internal measurements to ensure fit.
